Overview
Cocktail Guide Trainer is designed to keep your cocktail knowledge private. The app does not sell personal data, show ads, track users, or use third-party analytics.
Data you create
The app can store cocktail recipes, ingredients, notes, glassware records, favorites, training progress, photos, scanned menu images, and recognized text. This content is created or selected by you.
On-device processing
Image recognition and text extraction use Apple frameworks on your device. Apple Foundation Models may help structure recognized information on supported Apple Intelligence devices. The app does not send your recipes, photos, or scans to third-party cloud AI services.
iCloud sync
When iCloud is available and enabled for the app, your content can sync through your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. Apple processes iCloud data under its own terms and privacy policies.
Camera and photo library
Camera and photo access are used only when you choose to scan, import, or attach an image. You control access through Apple system settings.
Authentication
If you enable the privacy lock, the app stores the information needed to verify your local PIN. Face ID or Touch ID recovery uses Apple system authentication. The app does not receive your biometric data.
Data deletion
You can delete individual records in the app. You can also remove local app data by deleting the app and manage synced data through your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
Age and responsible use
Cocktail Guide Trainer is intended for users of legal drinking age and for hospitality training where permitted. Please drink responsibly and follow local laws.
